Lucy Ford Jackson Memorial 5K
Join us for the first annual Lucy Ford Jackson Memorial 5K on Saturday, October 24th.
This is a run/walk event — runners and walkers of all paces are welcome. Every participant recieves a race T-shirt, water, and snacks at the finish line, and a coupon for one glass of wine or one beer at Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards. Age group awards and medals will be announced at the finish line immediately following the conclusion of the race. There will be an exciting afterparty to stick around for hosted by Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards!
All proceeds benefit The Painted Horse Foundation, supporting families facing pregnancy and infant loss.

Early Bird: July 1st - July 20th $40.00/participant
Standard: July 21st - September 21st $55.00/participant
Late/Race Week: September 22nd - October 24th $65.00/participant

Race Information

Both walkers and runners are encouraged to participate! All participants or a parent/legal guardian will need to sign a waiver. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult of at least 18 years of age.

Pick up your race bib at Painted Horse Winery and Vineyards on October 21st, 22nd, or 23rd during normal business hours in the Tasting Room.

Parking is located at 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30004. This is the same address as the start line and volunteers will be present to help direct you.

Yes - age group awards will beheld immediately following the conclusion of the race on-site. Awards will be given in the following divisions:
6-9, 10-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70+ -

The race course is approximately 3.15 miles long. The designated parking area, start and finish line are located in one convenient place with volunteers ready to direct you to where you need to go. There is a water and hydration station halfway through the race.
